Earth: the only planet with beer

Kansas City

Welcome to the Kansas City Can Carrier Co-op! Here’s where you can find all the information about the program.

We encourage you to advertise your involvement in the program, through social media and other means. Best practices are to have a collection bin in plain view (you can put your logo on these signs, if you want). Some breweries offer incentives for customers to bring toppers back in — $1 off, or a pour equivalent to the height of the stack they bring in.

Please try to keep track of how much you collect so we can measure our impact.

Please fill out this form so we know your level of involvement and so we can include you on our interactive map.

Need a receptacle? Order one from PakTech for free.

Please join our private Facebook group, which will include updates and a way to connect with other participants. Got questions? Email us at info@craftforclimate.org.

How’s it work?
It’s simple. You collect can carriers from consumers. When you’ve got a binful or need to get rid of them, send a message in our Facebook group, tagging @Recyclverse. They’ll pick up the can carriers from you. Based in Independence, Recyclverse is a husband-and-wife team of makers that take old plastic and turn it into new items, like flower pots, pet toys and more. Need to schedule a pick up? Email Nicole at nicoledover00@gmail.com.
